The challenge
A four-floor commercial build on a general contractor's schedule means rebar crews work in sequence with concrete pours — there's no room for a welding crew to fall behind and hold up the floor above it. Paycom needed a rebar contractor who could keep pace floor by floor without becoming the bottleneck.
What we built
M&R Welding installed and welded the rebar for all four floors of the building, tying and welding grids to spec ahead of each pour. Beyond the base rebar scope, the crew also welded the elevator guard walls and handled a series of structural adjustments flagged during the build — the kind of mid-project changes that come up on any large commercial job and require a crew that can problem-solve on site, not just execute a fixed plan.
Materials
Rebar grids welded to structural spec; structural steel guard wall framing for the elevator shafts.
